  • OMG! Great-great-grandmother-in-law's gingerbread cookies!!! OM NOM NOM NOM!

Damn, I'm already drooling for them. And these other cookies, I forget what they're called, but it's a brown sugar cookie pocket filled with minced dried fruit. SO yum!

  • Every holiday has it's own foods. Labor day is grilling out. For halloween I like Libby's Great Pumpkin Cookies. Thanksgiving Bisquick Impossible Pumpkin Pie or Pumpkin Cream Cheese Roll. I like pumpkin.

  • I make Scottish Shortbead just as my Mother did. She always made it on Christmas Eve. I just loved the smell of cooking cookies in the house, pure butter and sugar, a good memory for me, now for my kids.

  • A couple of years ago I found a recipe in a magazine for Ooey gooey butter cake. I've made it for Christmas the past 2 years. It is so good & of course, very fattening (that's why I only make it once a year). I also found a similar recipe on the the cream cheese box.
