  • Lemon Rosemary Salmon
    Ingredients
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
    4 sprigs fresh rosemary
2 salmon fillets, bones and skin removed
    coarse salt to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
    Directions
    1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2.Arrange half the lemon slices in a single layer in a baking dish. Layer with 2 sprigs rosemary, and top with salmon fillets. Sprinkle salmon with salt, layer with remaining rosemary sprigs, and top with remaining lemon slices. Drizzle with olive oil.
3.Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until fish is easily flaked with a fork.

  • My own recipe is:
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    lemon zest
    1 minced garlic clove
scallions, green onion or onion of your choice
a tablespoon of molasses or honey
    red chili flakes
a splash of rice vinegar or apple vinegar
mix together and glaze over the salmon. It's amazing!! Make rice on the side and some veggies. Enjoy it's really yummy!!

  • top with lemon slices and old bay seasoning, or dill and wrap in foil. As far as seasonings go, every trip to the store , throw one or 2 in the basket. I rely heavily on my herbs and seasonings.

  • We would make sushi out of them. But it's great on a cedar plank cooked on the grill or in the oven with salt, pepper and dill. You can buy thr plank at the grocery store.
