Fruits and Vegetables what is a serving?

OK so I am going to start a eating healthy habit. By eating 5 serving of fruit and vegetables a day.

So my question is what is a serving? 1 cup, two cups?

  • A serving is about a 1/2 a cup. I take Juice Plus, it's a simple way to get more fruits and veggies into my diet every day. I juice and eat veggies but when I looked into Juice Plus it really made sense. 17 servings of different fruits and veggies in a capsule or gummy. I have been using it for a year and it's affordable and convenient. I'm all about simplifying my life, better nutrition doesn't get any easier then this. If you would like more info contact me.

  • 1/2 cup or 1 medium (in the case of apples or pears or oranges, etc.) or 1/2 banana. Those are the measurements we have to use in the diabetic diet and I'm very certain that it's the same as the USDA chart for daily servings.

  • It's dependant on the kind of fruit and veggie. You should google it. I can't give you exact sites.
