Immigration: 22 States Following Arizona's Lead With Bills Policing Illegals...

A federal court ruling throwing out key sections of Arizona's tough anti-illegal immigration law has apparently not stopped momentum for similar "crackdown" legislation in other states. A national lobby, Americans for Legal Immigration, said Wednesday 22 states are now considering versions of the Arizona legislation.

They range from one other border state, Texas, to large northern states like Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Most recently, Colorado and Alabama went forward with legislation, according to the organization.

Is your state on the list? Will you support them in this or fight them?

  • TX is one of the states and we know now of one of our legislatures that will bring a law similar to Arizona's up to the state legislature when they meet again as she did for the last meeting. I'm glad it's happening and if Holder wants to sue all of us, so be it. Bring it on!

  • No, I really think its a waste of time. If the laws are "legal" they are redundant, if they are illegal well, then they are illegal. Pointless politicking, I can't believe people don't realize they are getting pandered to, and in a very unflattering way, i might add.
