What do you guys thank about foster parents?

  • i dont really know any of them but if i had enough money one day, i would like to foster a child & maybe adopt them if thats how it worked out

  • I think they are great for taking in kids that have no family

  • think you mean....good for them. it takes a lot of love and dedication to take on the role of a parent for a child they didn't have and will probably not have in their care forever.

  • yes i agree my mil is one and she jsut got a little boy tonight did not have nothign but the clothes on his back no shoes momma is in jail and noone knws who the daddy is

  • it takes a special person to be one, I wish there wasn't a need for them but I'm glad we have them. It is truly an act of selflessness.

  • I used to work at a foster and adoptive resource center. I can honestly say there are good ones and bad ones, ones in it for the right reasons, other for the wrong. Now my sister-in-law is a case worker and I can tell you that it takes a toll on her. All she says is it7ks hard to let it go at the end of the day(she's actually on call 24 hrs sometimes for emergencies, cus they rotate.) But my best friend is adopted by her used to be foster ma and she has an award for adopting and fostering loads of kids. Trust me when I say their holidays are crazy, but they are a very happy family.
