  • Sometimes they will let you test out- try calling the school to see if there is a way your son can be tested into kindergarten ahead of time.

  • Don't think you can "get around" a cut off date for school. Contact the school and see if he can "test" up to Kindergarten. Good Luck.

  • You have to call the school and see if you can have him tested for early Kindergarten. If that doesn't work then you can always consider sending your twins to school a year later that way they will be one year apart in school.

  • Charter and parochial schools may have many of their own regulations so give it a try. If you get him in K somewhere this year, you can always transfer him over next year.

  • Instead of trying to "Get around the cut off date" enjoy this year of having him at home. If you get him in, he will be the youngest in the class. Some kids will be a year or more older than he is. Can you do preschool or some other alternative for this year? What is they all start together? Isn't there more that one class at the school? Don't be so anxious for them to grow up. I have witnessed many kids in this situation that crash and burn because mom wanted to just get them in. There has to be some cut off. Where does it stop?
