I am 9 months pregnant and i am suffering from severe migraines and nothing help what can the doctors do besides prescribing me more medicine?

  • How is your blood pressure? Sometimes migraines can be a sign of hypertension.

  • I had migraines bad with my first pregnancy. My doctor told me to increase my water intake..and it really worked.
    Sounds simple..but really it worked.

  • my blood pressure is fine...i went to the doctors yesterday about them and all they gave me was loratabs but once they wear off it comes back worse

  • The only other thing I can tell you is to have as little stimulus as possible. Cool dark room, no noise, no food smells. Migraines bite big time, but they are even worse during pregnancy when you already feel miserable in the summer heat.

  • Its probably related to the hormone changes... I can honestly say, there is really nothing more you can do at this point. Get more rest and try to relax...

  • Eat a tablespoon of honey the instant you feel it coming on. if it's not gone within a half an hour take another tablespoon with three glasses of water.

  • see a chiropractor!!!!!!!!!! have him adjust your neck to release pressure. also get a massage!! that will help tremendously...i get migraines as well and thats what I do.

  • A magnesium deficiency is a common cause of migraines. I take a cal/Mag/D supplement daily
