  • No. I live in SE WI and it's a lot cheaper to live here than it is to live in IL.

  • I agree on the whole is all relative thing. Highly taxed but my 1100 sq.ft. house didn't cost 550,000. It's reasonable, if you can find work. It all really depends on where you live...

  • I live in California, which in general has a high cost of living. That said, I live in one of the cheapest areas of the state. I agree that its relative. Most other places seem cheap to me in comparison.

  • No, it's decent. Companies tend to transfer here from the big cities because the cost of living is lower.
