Anyone know family court attorneys in Chicago that do Pro Bono or pretty cheap price?

I'm doing research for a friend who is trying to get his child back because she is running from the law and ran away to his ex wife when there's a restraining order on his ex wife and he has custody not the childs mother. Well, there is a warrant for the arrest of his daughter due to history, but Chicago is taking jurisdiction just because his ex wife lives there and has the money and he doesn't. The ex wife and daughter make all sorts of stories, and even had guardian of liem and visitation people tell the judge that the daughter should not be with the mother. Wondering if there is a family court attorney that would help him in Chicago. All the ones he found were pricey, and it's ridiculous of what he has to go through when a state is not allowed to take jurisdiction over a person when there's already a warrant for an arrest. The state that he lives in won't go after his daughter, he has to do it himself due to budget cuts.

  • Contact Legal Aid in your area. Most attorneys would refer you to them if you're looking for pro bono work anyway. Good luck!
