Has anyone else gotten a lot of virus notices from their security co. lately?

Is it just me or what? Lately I have been freezing up a lot since getting on this sight, and getting a lot more notices of viruses being caught by my security co. on my system. Sure glad I have a good system and it's working, but still a little scarey. P.S. Wasn't quite sure where to put this before anyone tell me off!!

  • No. Here are some helpful hints we got when we had a virus on our computer last fall. Have the Internet Options set to delete out your browser history, cookies, temporary internet files, ect, every time you close the browser. (If we don't do this, we are bombarded with messages about blocked viruses, Trojan Horses and spyware.) Reset your passwords every three months and make them very difficult to guess. Use letters and numbers or non-sensical phrases. Run your virus scans at least one a week. Program it to do this so you don't forget. If something is caught in quarantine, delete it. It can still mutate and cause problems.
