How to get carseat info?

A friend of mine gave me a car seat yesterday. She couldn't remember what type it is. All we know is that it is a Graco. How can I find out what the actual type is? I wanted to look it up and make sure it is still safe and look into buying a matching one for the other twin lol

  • it should have a sticker on it that has all it's info - make, model, expiration date, etc.

  • Is there a sticker with the model number or any info on it? If so, google that info with "graco" and see what comes up. Good luck!

  • Okay I typed in the serial number.. Shows it is a Graco Infant Safeseat. Now I guess I just need to find another one and a double stroller compatible with these. Thanks ladies =)

  • Look on the bottom of the seat, there should be an expiration date stamped into the plastic. Make sure it's not expired. Make sure it has never been involved in an accident, and the straps have never been submerged in water. Go to safekids.org to find a car seat technician in your area as well for any additional questions.

  • You can look up the model number and find it on the graco site. First, it should have an expiration date on it. Make sure it isnt expired :)
