  • Bad breath, excessive thirst, excessive cleaning habits, sores on the face and arms that aren't healing. Unexplained weight loss, and the obvious one is not sleeping.

  • Have they lost a lot of drastic weight lately? They are very fidgety, can't be still, even paranoid. Sores on the face are a big one, because it makes people so hyper they just pick at the sores they already have. Also, there is a certain odor from those stinky chemicals. Yellowing of the skin from the chemicals, an odor to their breath, even rotting teeth.

  • They'll usually be very fidgety, won't eat, won't sleep, they'll have dilated pupils, and will have rapid eye movement.

  • I don't know what the symptoms of drug use are, but you know the individual better than we do, and you would know if something is different. My two niece's dad is a habitual marijuana user, and he lost his girls over it. He has lost weight and everything, but we suspect he is using other drugs as well. There is simply nothing you can do for a person who is using drugs. Their mind is set on one thing, and that is using. Just pray and hope things will get better. We even tried an intervention to help my brother, but he has many friends who sat bad examples for him and give him bad advice. We're just very thankful that his daughters are in our care, and not his. They're our number one priority right now. I always tell my sisters that trying to get our brother off drugs may be a battle we may never win.
