  • Sure.

My husband and I have been known to go out and get a room just to have a night away from home now and then :-)

We like going out, having a nice dinner, maybe a movie/play etc.. then getting a room and just staying out for the night.. It's a nice way to spend some time together now and then.

  • Not quite the same thing but we stayed at a hotel a block from your house because the furnace broke and we didn't have any heat.

  • I have always thought about doing that, but I have not done it yet.

  • We go on mini vacations sometimes. Not within so much a of a drive but in a nearby city. It is always fun, and we try to find ones that have pools for the kids.

  • Yes especially if you want to get away from everything. You go back feeling better than you did before.

  • We stayed at a hotel when the house was being painted and when we had a plumbing emergency and had to turn the water off. My son and I have stayed at local hotels a couple of times when my husband was away on business because we were jealous that he was getting away, even if it was work.
