  • Your nipples become very sensitive and SORE when you are pregnant. Just do what you feel comfortable with. It may pass, it may stay the entire pregnancy. Good luck.

  • Yeah sorry it's just one of those lovely pregnanc thing it should start to get better when you get into your second trimester and then probebly come back right before you deliver.

  • Hormonal changes cause increased blood flow and changes to the breast tissue. It's very normal but unfortunately there's not much you can do to relieve the pain. Wear a supportive bra and try a cool cloth, maybe some aloe? It's likely your hormones will level out and the soreness will go away or at least not be so strong for awhile. But you may get another wave of hormones and have it start all over again. Ah the joys of pregnancy ; ) Try to focus on the good parts and enjoy having baby all to yourself for awhile. Congrats!

  • Your breasts are getting ready to produce milk. Something would be wrong if they weren't sore.

  • Something wouldn't be wrong if they weren't sore. I never had sore nipples/breasts and produced lots of milk for both my babies ; )

Your breasts are getting ready to produce milk though, you may even leak some colostrum before giving birth. Some women leak throughout their pregnancy and others don't leak at all.
