  • Google subjects and then conduct further research on the subject! Go to the library and read more about it!

  • Look at the local college catalog, find a class you are interested in, go to the school bookstore, get the class book list, then get the books from the library. What you can't get from the library you may be able to get cheaply online.

  • You COULD get a Library card and spend time there.looking for books that will teach you somethng new or inform you about the rest of the world,outside of your neighborhood.

  • There are actually courses you can take for free on the web from big name colleges. Go to your local library website and check with the links they have for education and learning. I'm currently brushing up on my french! There are so many free educational learning sites out there. Just take the time to find them!

  • craft stores sometimes offer classes they are pretty fun and cheap if you like that kind of stuff. I took a few cake decorating classes and that was fun. Also some state parks offer different kinds of classes and there are usually free, things like wildlife photography, bird watching, tree identification and stuff like that.
