One more time:) How much do you spend on home and personal care products monthly?

I am trying to create an information sheet for my business and want to know what the average person spends on their home and personal care products monthly ( I know that this was already asked once - but was accidentally deleted:( So...how much? Don't forget - body wash, shampoo and conditioner(for the whole family), deodorant, hand soap, hand sanitizer, shave gel, body lotion, facial cleanser, tooth paste, tooth brushes, sunscreen, Ibuprofen, first aid ointment, pain relief cream, make-up, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, glass cleaner, all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, furniture polish, laundry detergent, spot remover, brightener, softener, candles, air freshener, pet shampoo...you get the idea - thanx for your participation!

  • We probably spend between $50 to $75 a month on all cleaning and household items. Sometimes more as I am an impulse buyer, especially with health and beauty items!

  • Taking my best guess I would say it averages out to about $100 a month...give or take a few on different months.

  • A HIGH month would be about $25... Usually between $10-$15 a month for everything. I usually only have to buy this stuff once a month or every 6 weeks, because we really don't use it... Also, for stuff like lotion or anti-bacterial stuff that is only used once in a great great while, I just use free samples... For the rest we shop at the dollar stores... I see no reason to pay $5 for something when I can get it for $1 or less...

  • Trying this again...btw how do you accidentally delete something.... anyways...

I spend next to nothing on home care because I make my own laundry and cleaning supplies. As for shampoo/conditioner, soap, toothpaste and deodorant... I only buy it when it is on sale and I can use double coupons. I normally do not pay more than .50 a piece for that kind of stuff. Anything else is just a luxury we can not afford at this time.
