both of my boys keep getting diahrrea on and off....

especially my oldest who is almost 4 yrs old. This last time we all had a cold, which may have been part of it, but it is sooo inconsistant. It will be a few days on, a few days off, or even a week or two off, and then it starts again :( My youngest doesn't get it that much, but sometimes. I only get it when I'm sick and we all eat the same things. I was thinking maybe he's lactose intolerant, but he always has dairy products, and his diahrea is still inconsistant.

  • Have you cut out dairy to see if that is the problem?

  • not yet... it been kind of hard to, especially since we're on wic. I don't want to do soy because I think that makes things worse (we tried that). so I was thinking almond milk. can you still give yogurt?

  • Maybe it's a particular spice that they are allergic to and every time it shows up in a particular dish it causes this problem. Oregano is a culprit here among other spices.
