this may be a dumb question, but im gonna ask it anyhow

Is it ok to take a bath once you are into your third trimester? I know its not supposed to be hot or anything like that but im just wondering if its ok to take one?

  • Yes, as long as your Dr has told you not too for some reason :) Has someone told you that you couldnt?

  • I've always took baths during my third trimester - as long as it isn't hot.

  • When I was in labor.......after my water broke......I was in the jacuzzi in the hospital :) Yes it's ok as long as your doctor hasn't said that you can't.

  • Yeah,
    But please be careful that you dont slip getting up "OUT OF THE TUB" that could really hurt.
    And like the rest of the mom's are saying above.
    If your Doctor says it's okay than go for it.

  • As long as your water didn't break. You aren't supposed to take a bath after your water breaks due to possible infection. So, it's not a dumb question. You probably heard something about not bathing in late pregnancy due to the water breaking issue.
