Dumb pregnancy testing question

According to my charting and ovulation kit test it looks like I ovulated between my day 19 and 21. If I were on cycle day 28 and I tested today with a dollar store test, would it be too early to have accurate results? (I haven't tested yet) Or should I wait and how long should I wait?

Thanks for your help.

  • I'd wait a week. What's it gonna hurt?

  • Too early...just wait. Or test now and later, that is what I always did!

  • I was told to test 10-14 days post ovulation while using the test.

  • With the dollar tree tests, they detect at 25 mlU so you CAN do it early, but I would say 12 dpo would be a good place to start. thats when i got FAINT lines with my two pregnancies on dollar tree tests. good luck!

  • wait a few more days and then test... but you might have to test again to be sure... its easy to get a false negative if you test too early... I always made myself wait until the first day that I could possibly start my pd again
