  • We live in Orange County, just 45 minutes north. We go there at least once a year, often with visiting friends or family. Your children sound like they are great ages to enjoy what Legoland has to offer. The rides accomodate preschoolers as well as elementary schoolers. They might not be able to ride the dragon roller coaster or for sure the Bionicle thing (can't remember what it's called). There is a great Duplo style playground area and a larger playground in the Knights section. They just opened a water park this summer which we haven't been to yet, but there is also a water area in Legoland called Pirate Shores. So, even if you don't do the water park, prepare to get wet there. If you decide to go, I know you'll have fun. Oh, and be sure and try the apple fries. Yummm!
