  • Well, for favors, I'd suggest silly bands, stickers, and temporary tattoos, as well as some noisemakers (you can get kazoos or cheap harmonicas in multi-packs.) How many kids? If there aren't too many, you could have them play twister as one activity. You could also get a piñata, that's always fun for a wide range of ages. You can have them do a craft, like gluing shapes to a sheet of paper, then putting a picture from the party on it afterwards, and sending it (in the mail, cause kids like getting their own mail) as a thank you note.

  • Pinata is a great idea, we always have them! Get special bags for them to hold the candy in afterward. Also bubbles, noise makers....you can play bobbing for apples, too.

  • Just a tip...do not plan the party around his nap time. Water balloon toss is always fun. Pin the tail on the donkey or whatever animal you have. My husband does face painting and makes animal balloons, An easy craft to make and take home or have a little bucket of those sticky foams on the table where they can just make whatever. The craft needs to be easy though because not all kids at a party want to hold their attention very long....but some may not be as social and that is a safe place for them. Bubbles are easy. Kids dance music. Have fun!
