my sons eyes are watering a lot what could it be?

my son is 5 months and his eyes are watering a lot all of the sudden he also rubs them constantly until they turn red...allergies maybe? i dont know.

  • yep most lilkely. I am in NW Pennsylvania and allergies here are horrible. Hay season, all the pollens from trees and flowers and stuff. And now it's goldenrod time.....TERRIBLE

  • It could be pinkeye which is very contagious!!! I would take him to a doctor,today!!!

  • His eyes dont get red unless hes rubbing at them though...when he wakes up in the morning they look just fine, and they arent getting crusty or sticky at all like they would with pink eye

  • Could be tear ducts. Rub them gently with your finger just tear duct area like ten times each eye a couple times a day. Try not to use the same finger with each eye in case there's something else going on. Do you wear perfume or apply lotion to him or you? Could be something he smells that he's sensitive to.
