You have to wait until your child is older is to determine if he/she has ADD. My DS was extremely active, more so than his sister, but I waited until he got a little older to talk to the doctor about his behavior. He is 4 now and in preschool. The difference in environment has helped him out a lot, regarding his activity, but he still shows signs. Even at that, most doctors will not medicate a child with ADD/ADHD until after they started kindergarten. Give your child some time, and also give him/her plenty of outlets and activities.
