when do baby start to get there teeth

i am a first time mom and i have a all most 3 moth old son i want to know when his teeth will start to come in ,

  • My oldest and youngest DDs got their first tooth at 5 months, my middle DD got her first tooth at about 8 months.

  • My son got his at 14 months, which is very late. There is no set age for these kinds of things.

  • Every baby is different. Some babies start to get teeth around 3 to 4 months while other babies 8 months, while mine two of mine got their teeth around 10 months and my 23 month old didn't get her teeth until around 14-15 months....which was OK with me since I'm still nursing her.

  • Most commonly the bottom 2 teeth erupt at around 6 mos. but anywhere from 3 mos. to a year or later would be considered the norm.

  • Birth to 18 months is the overall range of normal. 7 months is the average month. My son got his lower front 2 at 7 months :)
