  • $10.00 for my little peep. The teens shoes are still good. I figure if I only have one pair and I can make them last years, they need to do the same.

  • Wow! I think about $50. But at my kids sizes it's probably a lot easier to find good deals. And they don't care too much about style yet, although my son did reject the first pair of shoes I bought him, so I took them back and bought him Cars shoes instead. I'll also buy ahead when I find things on clearance, and I buy used shoes too for kids.

  • None, so far. At this point, it is still hot enough for the girls to wear their Crocs and sandals, and their athletic shoes still fit from last year. I'm hoping that we can hold off on buying new shoes a little longer--but they're both due for a growth spurt, so I'm sure it won't be long before we're off to the shoe stores. Ugh.

  • JUST shoes? well so far my kids have each gotten 1 pair plus boots I got early (Minnesota! Snow comes early!) plus new tap and ballet shoes for upcoming dance school season. if you count that, close to $150 I guess

  • 20+30+20+almost 50=ouch. $120, give or take a few bucks.

+70 for DH=double ouch. (he needed them though, lost all his shoes/boots but one pair when we had water back up into our basement)

  • My 3 school aged kids all needed new shoes this year. Especially the girls and their new school requires them to keep gym shoes at school so they had to have 2 pair. So far we spent $15 on my son's shoes (his one pair he has will have to do for now). My oldest dd has gotten one pair so far for $15. The other pair she wants is $35 but we don't have the money for that right now. My younger daughter got 2 pair for a total of $25. So we've spent $55 on 4 pair of shoes for 3 kids.
My last pair of new shoes we bought like 2 or 3 years ago. I usually get new shoes every 5 years. My husband just bought new work boots. No idea how much those cost.
