is someone born lactose intolerant..or is it something you can become at any age??

  • Both. You can be born with it and develop it later in life. Sometimes it follows Irritable Bowel Disease, Celiacs Disease, colon/intestinal surgery, an illness or a simple food allergy. Your body simply becomes incapable of processing/digesting the cow's milk protein. Fortunately there are a number of alternative products for those with a lactose intolerance.

  • Yes, you can just become lactose intolerant. You can also be born with it. GL!

  • I wasnt born with it. I became that way when I was about 7 or 8 I think.

  • I became lactose intolerant during my second pregnancy and have been that way ever since.
