Do your kids have a favorite B'Day dinner

We started letting the kids pick their favorite dinner as they got a little older. Now My DD is starting the same thing w/her kids. Not too sure abt my son and his kids. It's neat to see how your kids pick up on some traditions, then you know they really enjoyed doing them.

  • We always do that - the birthday child picks what we have for dinner, and they don't have to do any chores that day. It's the same thing my mom did for me.

  • We get sushi for birthdays. Everyone loves it but we can't really afford to do it often so it's out special birthday treat!

  • Oh, yes. My kids get to choose their favorite meal for their birthday dinner. My oldest will be 20 in a few weeks and he has asked for steak, grilled asparagus, crescent rolls, salad and yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
