Can you translate kidspeak for other people?

When your child says "appybat" do other people know s/he means alphabet? What are some of your fave kidspeak words and what do they mean? Bee Beard= Big Bird, Ummo= Elmo, Make-a-make= cooking, wallamaalon= watermelon...

  • I had one of those kids I didn't have to translate for. He enunciated very well from his first word on. So, mine never spoke in "kidspeak" and if he mispronounced anything I simply explained the proper way to say it and he did.
