What is the difference between a vegetarian and a vegan?

  • vegetarians will often still eat dairy products and sometimes eggs, vegans eat no animal products at all.

  • ok, I've never heard that. I was gonna say the spelling... lol I know a few people and they say vegan just cuz it's a shorter word to say or spell! lol

  • Some vegetarians eat dairy and eggs, just no meat. Vegans do not eat fish, dairy or eggs. Basically they do not eat anything that comes from animals.

  • Is tofu for both vegan and vegetarian than? I've never had it, so I don't know whats in it.

  • tofu is a vegetable product and either vegetarian or vegan can eat it
