Is any line really a line? Or is this a bad evap?

Im on CD 57 when my normal CD are 28-30 no later.
I ovulated on July 11th.
And here our my last two tests.

Photobucket

I took the top test at CD 44.
And the bottom test at CD 37.
Last monday i took a clearblue digital that said "not pregnant"
I intend on testing in the morning with another answer early result.

Has anyone ever seen a line like this or the mess?
The test has not been open or had anything spilt on it.
My husband and i have been TTC for a year.
We would be so so so thrilled if this is finally our BFP.

Thank you ladies for any input or advice.
It means the world to me.

  • That is a positive, both times, in my opinion. Mine were as light as those, and I was pregnant. :)

  • It depends on how long after you took the test that the line appeared....it should say on the box...I would just take another test. GL!

  • I can see a line in each, it is definitely darker in the top one. I've never noticed an evap line, so i am not quite sure what they look like. When did you notice the lines, was it right away? If you did not notice it right away, but noticed it more than 10 minuteds later, it sounds like an evap line.

  • Btw, it takes the pregnancy hormone to make ANY line at all. Test again in a couple of days, and I think the line will be darker.

  • Thank you so much. It came within the ten minute time limit.
    But the weird smear stuff makes me feel like it could be a fluke;
Ill update in the morning! Thank you so much!!!

  • Evap lines are usually grey or blue, though, Courtney.

  • It's based on when it was taken. If it was within the time limit, I would say positive. When I tested with my last baby, I got a line right at 10 minutes, with a 10 minute time limit. I would wait a few days and test again like the other ladies suggested to make sure its not an evap line.
