CAN A PREGNANCY TEST BE ACCURATE 1 WEEK BEFORE PERIOD?

I'VE BEEN HAVING ALOT OF PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS.I FEEL SO SICK.

  • No, the soonest anyone gets a positive is 5 days before your period, and that's only about 40% of pregnant women that get a positive that early.

  • A negative result is not reliable at that point in your cycle. However, a positive result is reliable no matter when you get it. You are very unlikely to get a positive result any sooner than 5 days before your period is due. However, since many women have some variance in their mentrual cycles, it is possible to get a positive test result much soon that you might expect, since you may have ovulated earlier than usual that particular month.

    So, an early negative result is not reliable. An early positive result is.
