  • you should really check at your local job agency , there is usually a place associated with theh local welfare office that can help you find work and make child care arrangements

  • I work in a thrift store and there is this couple that come in and they spend a good hour buying stuff to sell on Ebay and craigslist, they make around $1,000 a month doing like if you go buy name brand stuff at garage sales or thrift stores or baby/kids stuff you can put the items online and be making money in no time.
Also you can put an ad on craig's list under services and offer to do things like house cleaning or yard work or babysitting

  • Try searching job boards for telecommuting jobs. You said there were no local agencies. Does that include temp agencies? If you do find any, try with them. You could also babysit. Sell stuff on eBay. Make crafts and sell them on Etsy. Good luck.

  • Do you have a former employer you could work for remotely?
You can search for jobs that match you skill set and have a telecommute option.
If you have a computer with high speed internet & Microsoft Office Pro & have at least intermediate MS Office skills, you should be able to find work as a virtual assistant (VA). For more information, go to,, ..
Do you have a skill or experience that you can turn into a home based business? I have a friend who makes children's hair accessories in her basement & sells them to boutiques around the Midwest. My husband runs a handyman business from our home. I work from home with two lines of business; I do freelance bookkeeping & business organization, I also do career and job search coaching

  • Lots of legit money makers in my work at home group. They pay $2-$14.50/hr.
