Which vegetables do you like cooking often?

I like cooking spinach, broccoli, carrots, and zucchini. I find they contain a great deal of nutritional value and I try to cook them as often as I can. I like to purchase them frozen or fresh which are easy to find in the supermarkets.

  • I like eating what's fresh and in season, although I'll pay more for hothouse tomatoes in the winter because I love them so much. I cook a lot of zucchini and broccoli year round. My favorite veggie to cook would be roasted asparagus, but that's definitely seasonal.

  • Broccoli. My husband LOVES it and it's one of my favorites, plus I like it with either butter & salt, or a little healthier with just a spritz of vinegar.

  • Broccoli, green beans, carrots and potatoes.... I also like combining a few of them together either for the grill or as a
    stir fry... Mushrooms is another most often cooked with the veggies mentioned...

  • Right now I'm making alot of Zucchini because my garden has been producing more then I expected. We like broccoli and those frozen bags of variety veggies, not the basic mixed veggies but the bags where it's a blend of different veggies with onions or something fancy like that.

  • Roasted broccoli, roasted potatoes, green beans, mashed or baked sweet potatoes (butter, cinnamon and brown sugar), raw spinach (salads), corn roasted in the husk, sauteed mushrooms, fried okra, roasted sauteed squash and zuchinni with onions, candied carrots, fresh greens (usually romaine) for salad with cucumber, carrots and tomato.

  • I have been on a huge green beans and carrots kick lately. I try to eat spinach but I really don't like it. I hide it in my food though.. i add it to pasta, pizza, burritos... anything I can think of
