any good loosing weight tips or diets??

  • 1. Cut out soda. ( i didnt lose a lb doing it but i know im healthy for it)
    2. cut out all white breads & only eat whole wheat.
    3. Eat more veggies.
    4. Drink a glass of water before every meal. Drink more water PERIOD.
    5. Snack! Between each meal have a small healthy snack (veggies/fruits/nuts)
    6. Have a big breakfast. Medium lunch. Small dinner.
    7. Work out for atleaste 30 minutes every day... I said AT LEAST! so more the better ;)
    8. Cut out as much processed food as possible.
    9 Stop eating fast food... I bet most americans would lose 10lbs if they did that alone!

  • If you cut out all soda and drink water you can lose that 10 lbs pretty quick. DH and I lost weight just by cutting out soda and drinking water.

  • I agree about the water. Another thing I've done that helps: I eat special K cereal for breakfast. When I buy a box, I separate it into correct portion sizes and put it in a ziploc bag. Like usually, it's 3/4 cup, so I use a measuring cup and separate the whole box, then put all the ziploc bags back in the box. When I'm ready for it, I just grab a bag and empty it in the bowl. That way I'm not tempted to over eat. This works with about anything. Quit buying junk food. If it isn't in the house, you can't eat it. Do NOT go grocery shopping on an empty stomach. Eat frequent, small meals.

  • Definately drink more water! I have started drinking a bottle of water first thing every morning before I eat breakfast. I eat soy yogurt and fruit for breakfast, and veggies for dinner. Once Ramadan is over I will eat my carbs at lunchtime. I love pasta but I really shouldn't eat it last thing at night. For me, that doesn't work too well LOL.
