  • Because he can. It doesn't mean ear infection.

  • Ear infection. Teething pain.

  • Either they are fun to grab, or he has allergies and they itch. Mine did that too. If it's an ear infection he'd probably scream, so I'm gonna go with itchy inner ear from allergies.

  • My middle son would do it when he was bored or tired.

  • My son does it when he is tired. but it can also be an indication of an ear ache. He is most likely exploring his body... Just keep an eye on him but I am sure hes fine.

  • My daughter does that for only two reasons. Either she is sleepy & its her personal self soother or it was her way of saying ear infection. She was doing that alot more this weekend & sure enough the doc said she had double ear infections! She doesnt even scream so dont think oh hes not screaming. I took her better safe than sorry.

  • Could be lots of reasons... ear infection, teething, comfort, maybe he just thinks its fun. If he isnt whiny or acting unusual i wouldn't put too much thought into it!

  • Ours does that too. The Pediatrician looked and said he doesn't have an ear infection. I don't know why he does it so I guess it's just because he likes to.
