1 Bump

2 year old molars

So my son will be 2 in November, and he's getting his bottom molars. He's had his normal poop issues lol BUT he's messing with his ears soooo bad. They're bleeding (just skin not like down into the eardrum). Did any of your kids do this with teeth??

ps no fever and not too cranky either.

  • My 1 year old just got one of his molars in and he got an ear infection while it was coming in. It could be possible he has an ear infection. Maybe go checked out by a doctor. The bleeding isn't normal. Maybe he's being screwing with his ears to ,uch and that's what's causing the bleeding.

  • Ya I am pretty sure he's been scratching them, its on the outer ear. I was just hoping no ear infection. Course last time he didnt run a fever with his infection either.....

  • By son didn't have a fever either. I was shocked when they told me he had a double ear infection. I hope he feels better and I would take him to a doctor just in case.

  • Their ear can bug them with teething because it follows the same nerve path. I would just give motrin for comfort.

  • I found out that kids can get sick easier when they're teething then when they're not. It wouldnt hurt to get his ears checked to see if he has an ear infection.
