Have you ever started to say something to your kid/kids &

All you can get out are the same words over & over?

I was telling dd, "Move the other bottles so you don't spill the iced tea, because I don't want to clean up the umm, ummm, ummmm....
I was putting another bottle back while saying this.

  • Yes and my 4 year old just looks at me like I'm crazy and starts laughing at me. my husband tells me I need to learn how to talk all over again if I'm going to try to tell our kids not to do something.

  • lol I do it more when I'm trying to tell her not to do something..

    like today she started jumping on the couch.. and all that came out was "da duh da doo doo". lol.

  • Yes, I think this happens to everyone. Now something that aggravates me is when they mock me. Must be I say some thing to often!

  • Yes and sometimes I say I just stumbled over my tounge or no fair my tounge tripped me or my dad always says he had a brain fart lol
