What could this be?

my dd was looking at her teeth and noticed this little pocket down her throat and in that pocket was something white looking I thought it was a tooth but not way back to her throat right next to her vulvula (that hangy thing we all have in our throats) she says it doesn't hurt but it bothers her bc she does not know what it is. She is 7 yrs. old.
Thanks ladies!

  • It sounds like she has a puss filled blister in her throat. She may be getting strep, it might be thrush, hand/mouth disease or something else. I would take her to the Doctor.

  • could be an absess i don't think i spelled it right but it could just be an area thats inflammed that hasn't started to hurt yet. maybe thrush coming on it could be a number of things but if not casuing any pain then it should be fine. i believe that you should be more concerned with any blistering or discoloration which could indicate infection. regaurdless you need to get a professional medical view.
