  • I make my son eat. If he doesn't he buys some breakfast at school (or so he says). I make it for him. If I didn't, he wouldn't eat. Sometimes I make him a shake with Carnation instant breakfast, a banana and a yogurt and milk.

  • Never. He's pyroluric so he'll never be a breakfast eater unless breakfast starts at 10 am. I'm the same way, I can't stand to eat in the morning.

  • Sometimes - like me its rare, we just aren't hungry in the morning. He will usually have a bowl of cereal or make an egg and cheese sandwich if he does eat.

  • I had this issue with my youngest son from 6th grade on. One morning he looked in the fridge and out of the blue asked if he could eat leftover spagheti for breakfast. My first instinct was to cringe and say no, but I was so happy he wanted to eat anything at all, so I said yes. What I discovered was he isn't a breakfast food eater in the morning. Some of my friends really gave me a hard time..but if I have to choose between him eating chicken, or spaghetti or even pizza in the morning VS something gooey and sugary or nothing at all..I'll take leftovers.

  • My 15 yr old dd never has been much for breakfast. She'll usually have coffee and toast or a granola bar. Sadly she takes after me.
