  • Farm subsidies led to farm consolidation into corporate farms with lobby groups to leverage aid programs to their favor instead of promoting small business as intended. Corporate farms led to mass production of produce and livestock. Mass production led to mistreatment. Mistreatment led to food safety issues. Therefore, it's the liberals' fault

  • That is not true, Sweet. You shouldn't generalize. Conservatives, as do Liberals, want oversight and regulations that CAN be enforced and fault and direction to fall where it should. Not a bunch of crap that keeps people out of business and big businesses IN business when they fail to comply.

    food safety is a necessity. As a conservative I don't oppose all regulation just overregulation.
