How long does it take to get an update on my child support case?

Online on my case it says 15-30 days from his court date, which was the 5th. I'm sure it'll be closer to the 30 days (ugh), but have you gone through this?

If yes, how long did it take to get an update after the court date to enforce support?

He lives in another state also.

  • I don't know what state you live in but my state takes there sweet ass time doing anything. So ya it may take longer then the 30 days but I would be bugging the hell out them on 31 days.If you have a lawyer, then have them get on for you that's what you pay them for if you didn't have a lawyer then I would be on there ass regardless.

  • It depends on how much cooperation they get and how many cases they are working on (their time available) You could always call them and just request an updat at the like 15 day mark or so.
