  • You should both be financially secure. Having a baby is a very serious life long commitment. It is not something to take lightly. You need to find out if this man is someone you want to be tied to for the rest of your life. You should not get Pregnant just because you want a baby, for the sake of having a baby. You sound very young, find a good man, get an education, get a good job, get married, then have a baby, there are too many people out there living off the system and taking the tax payers money, because young immature people want to have a baby. Wait a few years, make sure you love this man, make sure he loves you and won't take a hike after,  make sure without a doubt that this man is one that you want to be the father of your child.

  • After both of you finish school, obtain enough education to get a decent job, secure an independent place to live, build a small savings, and commit to a real relationship. That's the best time to try for the sake of everyone involved. However, the best time to instantly conceive a child is right after you discover that you do not and will not ever have a pot to piss in nor a window to throw it out of, your shared vehicle dies a quick and painful death, you lose your job, he loses his job, you get evicted and you're living in an old burned-out van down by the river. That's a fertility Perfect Storm, right there.

  • 12-16 days after the first day of your period...

This is only accurate if you are on a 28 day cycle.

You will know when you are fertile by your cervical mucous. It will feel like you are sliming your underwear and when you wipe you will feel like it takes many attempts to clean because it is like slime. It will be clear to off white in color and will be stretchy and does not dry quickly. This happens usually a couple of days before you ovulate.

  • The easy answer is you want to have sex when you ovulate. The in depth answer is read up on tracking your fertility and start charting so you know when you ovulate. For most women that is about 12-16 days after your period starts, but not all which is why you need to read up on it and start tracking. Ideally though you should be in a stable relationship/home and hopefully married before trying to get pregnant though.
