  • I guess birth too but it's not like I ever just plopped my kid and said "here watch TV". I just never denied it. He could care less about it anyway. Sometimes I wish I COULD just plop him in front of the TV! Just so he'd sit still for a minute lol!

  • Birth here kids enjoy tv but they don't over do it. They have their favorite shows and what not.

  • I limit my childrens TV watching. My son started at about 10 months. We don't have cable at all so the one TV in the house is used only for movies. We started watching Signing Time DVDs with him to help him learn sign language. He is now 18 months and the ASL has helped him to communicate much better. He watches about one hour of Signing Time or Sesame Street a day, usually while I'm cooking dinner. My daughter has been watching DVDs with my son since she was born 6 months ago.
