Can apple juice be the cause of my recent heartburn?

I tried to look it up but the info was contradicting.

  • You I deal with pretty severe heartburn a couple of times a year and I have yet to find any rhyme or reason to it. Fornutately, 1 box of prilosec and I am good for a couple of months.

  • eliminate it for awhile and see if the heartburn goes away. If everything else you eat stays the same then maybe it is the culprit.

  • It could well be. I'd switch to something else, even skip juice, and see if it helps.

  • Apple juice gives me heartburn

  • With my current pregnancy, I've learned that ANYTHING can be the cause of heartburn. The worst heartburn I've ever had came after eating mashed potatoes, green beans, and milk. No joke.

  • Apple juice is a little acidic so I could see it. Then again, I'm pregnant, & friggin' oreos give me heartburn. :)

  • Yes. I get heartburn from tap water. Got it really bad when I was pregnant with my now 3.5 year old daughter. The chlorine they use to treat the water is too strong for my system to handle.
