  • I don't plan to pack their lunches. The school provides a great hot lunch - hell, I wish I could eat it, I always loved their food - just like at home, if you don't eat what you're given, you don't eat... It's not like they will starve if they miss one meal once in a while. IF there is a day here and there where they are serving something the kids REALLY HATE, then I'll send them in with something, but then I would work with them to get them something they like...

  • My son is picky so I pack either pbj, or a cheese sandwich, juice, fruit snacks, crackers, some sort of fruit. Sometimes as a special treat I'll send a lunchable.

  • Ham, turkey or PB&J sandwhich.
    Jello, pudding, yogurt or applesauce.
Something crunchy like crackers or pretzels.
    Grapes, apple, peaches or pears.
    Fruit snack.
Every once in awhile, a treat like cookies or candy.
    Juice box.

(She needs to have an extra snack packed everyday for their PM snack.)

  • Mine isn't so picky, but she's a vegetarian so that limits choices. Today she got mac n cheese, grapes, choc rice cakes, and flavored rice milk. Other days we do different fruit, yogurt, string cheese, cottage cheese, bagels, pb&j, tofurkey, veggie sandwiches, crackers, flavored water...
