1 Bump

Still leaking

I have not breastfed my daughter in 4 months and I still have thick yellow liquid coming out of my nipples when I squeeze. Do any of you Mommas know how to make this stop? I am dating again and would like to know that I can be intimate again without be embarrased! Thanks.

  • Sorry to tell you, but I can still squeeze some milk out 10 months after my son stopped nursing. I think I'm finally starting to dry up though.

  • You're normal, I'm afraid. Birth control with estrogen can zap it.

  • Stop squeezing them. You're making them think it's still needed.

I stopped nursing about 2.5 months ago, I still see a little bit, but not a ton. It's at least down to a small enough amount that DH no longer seems scared of them.

    Good luck.

  • I used ace bandages and bound them. I also put ice packs on them. It worked. My milk dried up within 2 weeks.
