How do you get your kindergarten to remember simple words?

I can't seem to get my girl to remember the word "the" for the life of me. Do any other moms have tips or this trouble.

  • My son's in kindergarten and we are dealing with this right now. I made flash cards with all of his sight words on them and I will flash them to him a couple times a day. He's doing pretty good. He has 'the' and 'and' down and we are working on the rest. But repitition is what works.
