Would putting aloe on a burned tongue be a bad idea?

About a month ago I got an aloe vera plant, and I kept thinking to myself next time I get burned I'll be all set, and getting to try out my new plant will make me feel better. Anyway it's the next time I got burned, I burned my tongue, I was like "damn it that's not gonna work!" So seriously, what do you do for a burned tongue? I usually just suffer and drink some cool water.

  • EEWWW! Aloe tastes nasty but hey it's all natural. I just wouldn't eat it.

  • I won't hurt you, people drink aloe juice, but it probably won't stay.

  • I don't think its meant to injest... try milk and bread. they are both supposed to absorb the burn.
