how long does it take to build trust after and affair? adult content

It has been 4 years and we were seaperated my husband views this as an affair.... I never lied to him during it.....

  • 4 Years is a pretty long time to still show No Trust- Especially, if you were separated & didn't lie to him- Maybe, it would be a good idea to get some counseling- Wishing you lots of luck!

  • Well it's been 4 years and if it's still causing a problem it might be best just to move on. Maybe try counseling again. Sit down and talk to him and ask him what you can do to gain the trust back. GL

  • You were seperated. You were honest. You went through counseling. If he is still taking issue with it maybe he is just an insecure person who will always make you feel like shit about yourself and make you feel you are forever in the wrong..you might be better off without him. Sorry, thems my two cents, life is short, if he won't let you be happy, find someone who will. Sounds like you gave that a go awhile back, maybe you should have ran with it then...?
