  • From a historical perspective, it looks like Obama. Historically, who ever was up in the polls in Sept won in November. Obama had an 8% lead coming out of Sept.

  • The winner will win. :) Other than that, I root for Obama, but have only strong hope and evidence that he may win.

  • Obama has the better chance with the historical September poll lead. However the last two elections were exactly the same way showing Democrats with fairly large leads in September only to lose in November. The baby boomer vote, rural vote, and other votes correlated to people who do not respond to phonepolls and internet usage are falling into a category "unlabeled" and is greatly unknown in voter preference and number. Which leads many political analysts to believe McCain will win by a 3 point margin in November. Gore had an 11 pt lead in September, I think I remember Kerry having a 9 pt. lead. Keep in mind almost 2% of Americans live overseas or are in the military serving and they are not being polled.
